Author Topic: Very disappointed with my first e-cigarette  (Read 6389 times)

 Angry

I have had NON STOP PROBLEMS with 2 brand new

SmokingEverywheres "gold" e cigarettes

that I purchased at a mall in Chander, Arizona.
2 of 4 batteries are bad.
One is dead and one blinks and then dies.
2 of the nicotine carts leaked in my mouth. It's been 3 hours and I can still taste that.
 It was SO bad.
I thought it might be just one but opened a second and it did the same thing but worse. I have to quit smoking for my health but for goodness sake that mouthful of cart nicotine sure isn't helping me out.
The other ones I purchased with apple flavor had issues with the inside part in the cart falling out when I opened the packet. Those ran out of puffs after using 3 cigarettes worth of puffs. Now as I type this the atomizer is getting really hot and making the end light blink. I'm hardly puffing. This is such a big disappointment.
I asked the manager if I could return them and he said
NO REFUNDS.
I can't understand how this much product could be this bad unless "maybe" it was sitting in a
hot storage too long. It's Very hot here in Arizona.
I'm out $390.00 and I still have to drive 20 miles to go "exchange" all this defective stuff.
I am so angry. So disappointed and out a hefty amount of money too.
No part of this product has worked correctly other than maybe the battery charger....??
Not one unit - TWO. I paid 300 for 2 and bought several faulty-leaking  carts.
And the 25.00 case holds the e cig but not a sealed cart.
The only way it looks like it would fit is if it were taken out of the packet and then it would leak out all over the case.
My credit card company strongly advised me to turn this matter over to the

United States Dept. of Health and gave me the number  1-800-321-6742.

I'm calling tomorrow and if they want that box of leaky nasty things I'll send it first class mail.
My credit card company was very understanding and very concerned when I spoke to them about the nicotine leakage happening.
Not everyone that uses these are 20 and healthy, some people are turning to them because they smoked for years and need to quit. I've read so many posts all over the Internet posted by people that love e-cigarettes and they have finally quit smoking after decades!!
Almost all of the posts I've read say all the other methods failed till trying e-cigarettes.
A man I spoke with this afternoon said he's had to search very hard to find a good quality e-cigarette.
There are some that are so faulty and they really shouldn't be sold.  Plain and simple.
There's a lot of issues and concerns over e-cigarette's product safety and now I totally understand first hand why.
Price sure didn't mean quality this time.

(update)

I went to the mall today and the guy bent over backwards to help me. I have to see how these new batteries work. The guy exchanged the overly leaky carts and let me exchange the other 3 boxes that weren't opened to a non tobacco no nicotine. He was very nice and very helpful. He said if I have anything go wrong to come back again.
I have to say I was treated VERY well when I went back with all the issues. The case is just going to have to be the case without putting an extra cart in there. I don't want it to leak on the e-cig.
If I poked a little hole in the plastic it might fit. The air trapped puffs it up too much to fight otherwise.
I would like to find a better designed e-cig that doesn't have "juice" coming up into my mouth so I could use the nicotine carts.
If anyone knows which type of e-cig doesn't have that juice problem I'd appreciate your comment.
I went most of the day without smoking. It's amazing.

ps- I didn't call the health dept. I'm using no nicotine carts in these e-cigs.

I recommend the Janty Dura C.....very reliable....."the Cadillac" of e-cigs.  I had many others before I discovered Janty.  Now it's the only Brand I buy.

i have heard nothing but bad thing with the smoke everywhere brand (all tho i haven't used one myself) i would go to litecigusa and get a vx2-m (i have the vx2 and love it) the vx2-m is the manual version and it looks good. Shawn at litcigusa has the best customer service of any online store i have shopped at.

tis to bad to here that smokinng everywhere gave you some bad product and you had a hard time reurning it they are mor than likely a distributer for them i would go to smoking everywhere's website and file a complaint against the distributer. im not sure if it was the product you got or that you were pulling to hard trying to get a drag as to why you were getting the liquid in your mout smoking an e cigarette requires a longer slower pull when compared to a regular cigarette. if you pull hard enough on nearly all ecigs you' ll get the nicotine solution in your mouth. your salesman should have went over how to properly use maintain and clean your product before you bought it. in my opinion though the e cig is a great product although there are a few bad suppliers and companies out there. i hope that this doesnt deter you from giving it a good effort to quit

I don't know if I had posted a reply or not. But I'm sure you have heard that pulling on the ecig to hard can cause that and don't feel bad because most people switching from analog cigs to e cigs do that. I worked at a mall selling the fiftyone duo and I had a guy who could not even get a good hit off of it. Anyway my boss was selling the brand that you had bought but switched a month later because the carts were leaky as in your case but people were pulling on them to hard. The fiftyone duo is a two piece e cig and the atomizer is built into the filter and that's the one I bought they wanted a 180 and I got him down to 120! Still I didn't know at the time but that was way to much money to spend on an e cig. After looking around on the Internet and doing lots of research and watching alot of reviews I found a class a ecig at a great cost. INTELLICIG!! Now these are some great quality products that are made in the UK all other ecigs are made in china. Most ecigs you get 300 recharges with intellicig you get 600 recharges plus there atomizers last six months or 12000 puffs and I'm going two months on my first one and I smoke it like crazy. A two battery kit with 2 atomizers 5 filters USB charger which plugs into the car and wall charger for 74.99!! Now that is a deal and will outperform your smokingeverywhere in all areas. My white geneie battery lasts 9-11hrs smoking on it every hour so that alone is very impressive. I feel bad that you paid that much for your ecigs you could of gotten the intellicig kit for 75$ and extra batteries are 15 along with atomizers 15$ too you could have had a ton of them or you could of bought 3 different types of good ecig kits for what you paid. I know when you have never heard or seen an ecig you have no idea what they cost or if there are other brands I'm still upset that I paid $120 for my fiftyone. On this same page that your post is on I have video reviews of intellicig, white and black evo plus the fiftyone duo so check them out to get a look at vapor production. Take care and what I've learned is to always shop around do some research before I buy any type of e cig now.

My very first brand was a SE and I quickly decided I hated that thing, I just about went back to analog cigs. Not wanting to give up we decided to start our own company instead with the 2pc design E-CIG with the Cartomizer for the cartridge, WAY better! If you haven't tried a 2pc design E-CIG with the Cartomizers you really need to right away. I am not trying to give our website a plug because I know there are many others out there but seriously you should really take a look at the product.

I agree, I have tried several different models from various manufacturers and the Joye 510 is the best.

I bought the Joye 510. I can't get it to work. I think the only people who are satisfied with ecigs are the people selling them!

I also have to say the 510 ROCKS!  There are many sites that have starter kits for cheap. The 510 has great vapor, okay batt life, and if you buy your juice from a good vendor the flavor is great.

Try some classic model like 901 and 801 ecigs, which are strong and seems that not bad. SE do not sell these, I think. Try again, think it will get better.

I agree with many of the posts.  Try to start with a njoy 510 or dse 901.  You can get a starter kit for a fraction of what many people pay for the start kits at the mall and many sites.
