Dr Abwao said that there are many more toxic compounds on the gadgets as compared to the normal cigarettes when inhaled in the lungs.
The menace has not yet hit the country but the global increase in commodities with countries having poor mechanisms of checking for items at the port of entry, says the WHO.
“Toxicological tests as well as clinical trials have never been performed on the products,” said Dr Dominic Karanja, current chairman of the Pharmaceutical Society of Kenya.
I love how they put two very opposing statements only one line apart. First, they say there are many more toxic compounds on the gadgets as compared to the normal cigarettes, and then two lines later they state that Toxicologica tests as well as clinical trials have never been performed on the products. <-- If this is true, then just how in the world can the first comment hold any truth to it. That right there is some great journalistic reporting abilities. So many people say put down the e-cig and they do so with absolutely no evidence. They don't even want to give it a chance, they just immediatlely hack away at it. Its just sad they cannot see the potential it has.

This article is a bunch of bull, I have spent thousands of dollars to have E-Cigs researched and you know what. There so much better for you then regular cigarettes. Im so sick of seeing articles like this. People need to do there own research and testing before they go talking bad about something they have NO CLUE about!!!

hey smokyman i suppose you need to analyze well on the product before you take up a final decision to select a particular brand. The e cigarettes are not very popular so there are many fake brands trying to take over the market and you need to be really careful before you select your best brand for investment. ---------------------------- e cigarette UK

We just can't please everyone. We just have to show them what ecigs has done for us vapers. Maybe he's one of those who haven't even tried it and judged it right away. Someone needs to be informed.

Well when I smoked real cigarettes before... I was sick probably 4 months out of the year. My allergies gave me troubles 8 months out of the year. And every morning I woke up feeling like a train ran over me. Now that I use ecigs.... all those problems have gone away completely. I feel healthy and more energetic than in the past 10 years. So theirs the proof. That article is just pure bull****!
